# Utility

RUNE V2 is the core currency and rewards driver of our ecosystem. It was designed to move beyond simple staking or trading and instead act as a circulating asset that rewards activity, funds growth, and ties directly into real yield sharing opportunities.

## 1. Platform Currency (Raiders Guild + SocialFi Farming)

* #### Raid Creation & Participation: RUNE V2 is the required token to create Raids on Raiders Guild and to participate in specific events, ensuring continuous circulation.
* #### Fee Capture: A portion of all platform fees are collected in RUNE V2 and used for:
* #### Buybacks and burns (deflationary pressure).
* #### Redistribution to stakers (via ADA rewards).
* #### SocialFi Engagement: A new platform powered by Raiders Guild’s backend will allow users to farm points (convertible into RUNE V2) through social activity, engagement, and content creation, giving non-NFT users a frictionless way to earn and spend.<br>

## 2. Staking Rewards (Emission Pool)

* #### 18% of the total supply (99.9M RUNE V2) is distributed over 18 months to stakers of:
* #### RUNE V2 itself (must be locked).
* #### Ecosystem assets (Mallards, Invitation Letters, Comic Issue #2).
* #### Halving Schedule: Rewards drop by 50% at 6 months and again at 12 months to slow emissions and support long-term value.
* #### Weighted Distribution: Longer lock tiers (90–365 days) and rarer assets receive higher reward weights.<br>

## 3. ADA Yield via Locking

* #### Only locked RUNE V2 holders qualify for monthly ADA rewards, funded by:
* #### Treasury profits (16% supply fund managed via ADAM strategies).
* #### Raiders Guild platform fees.
* #### Protocol-owned LP yield.
* #### Profits from Web2 products like The Print Shop.

### Rewards scale with:

* #### Staked token amount.
* #### Lock duration (30–365 days).
* #### Optional boosts from holding ecosystem assets.<br>

## 4. Burn Mechanics

* #### 1% of supply (5.55M RUNE V2) is reserved for burn conversions:
* #### Comic Issue #1 & #2 (holders can burn instead of staking for instant payouts).
* #### RUNE Splinters (burnable in sets of four).
* #### Platform Revenues (Raiders Guild + Secondary Sales)
* #### 100% of secondary fees from Mallards, Relics, Comics (except Invitation Letters) are used for buybacks and burns, steadily tightening supply.<br>

## 5. Treasury-Driven Value

* #### 16% of supply (88.8M RUNE V2) is controlled by the treasury, which:
* #### Provides airdrops to stakers.
* #### Deploys funds into LP farming, trading (via ADAM), and growth strategies.
* #### Uses a portion of profits for buybacks, burns, or additional airdrops, creating a feedback loop for token value.<br>

## 6. Expanding Utility Beyond the Mallard Order

* #### RUNE V2 will integrate into future Conduit services and cross-chain tools, including:
* #### Web2 payment rails (Print Shop credits, event access).
* #### Vault-based swaps for NFTs and ecosystem assets.
* #### Potential Midnight chain and cross-chain functionality.
